Welcome to Pawsport. We value the trust you place in us to manage your pet's life and health. This policy outlines our commitment to transparency regarding the data we collect and how we use it to provide our services.

2. Data Collection

Pawsport collects the following types of information to provide and improve our services:

• Account Information: Your email address and basic profile info provided via Google or Apple sign-in.
• Pet Health Data: Information you choose to record, such as pet names, vaccine history, and medical documents.
• Promoter Program Data: If you participate in our community promotion program, we collect your contact and payout details exclusively to manage your earnings.

3. AI Processing & Analysis

Pawsport uses advanced AI (Google Gemini) to help you digitize physical vet documents. When you use this feature:

• Scanning is initiated strictly by you. The content is processed securely over encrypted connections.
• Processed data is used only to populate your private pet records.
• Privacy Guarantee: We do not sell your pet's data, nor do we use it to train public AI models.

4. Promotional Referral Program

To support our growth, Pawsport uses a referral system. It is important to understand the boundaries of this program:

• Zero Data Access: Promoters (influencers) have no access to the Pawsport application database, user accounts, or pet health records.
• Confidentiality: Promoters can only see success metrics related to their own specific promotion code (e.g., "successful sign-ups"). No PII (Personally Identifiable Information) is shared with them.
• Anonymized Metrics: Referral activity is viewed by promoters only as anonymized, truncated counts to verify commission accuracy.

5. Cloud Services & Third-Parties

To ensure reliability and security, we partner with industry leaders:

• Google Firebase: For secure database storage, authentication, Cloud Functions, Firestore, and Cloud Storage (specifically utilized for synchronization and media assets within the Family Sharing features).
• Apple iCloud: For secure cross-device synchronization of your private records.
• RevenueCat: For managing premium subscriptions and purchases via the App Store.

6. Family Sharing & Access Scope

If you utilize our Family Sharing features, your shared household pet records and media assets are synchronized securely via Google Firebase Cloud Functions, Firestore, and Cloud Storage. Access to these records is strictly limited to members you explicitly invite to your household. Promoters and third parties have zero access. When a member deletes their account or leaves a household, the shared pet records remain intact for the other household members to ensure continuity of care.

7. Data Rights & Deletion

You own your data. You can delete your account and all associated pet records directly from the application settings at any time. Deleted data is purged from our production databases according to standard recovery protocols. As noted above, if you are a member of a Family Sharing household, your account deletion will not remove shared data from other members' active households.

8. Camera & Media Access

Access to your camera and photo library is required only when you choose to upload a document or set a pet photo. We do not access your background photos or media sessions.
